Fábrica Santo Thryrso

The Fábrica Santo Thryrso, part of Santo Tirso’s Cultural and Creative Quarter, celebrates the city’s textile history and community identity. This interpretative space honors the region’s cotton industry while engaging the public with the city’s cultural heritage.

Design meets history through a curated selection of pieces that reflect craftsmanship and contemporary design. The Lynn Coffee Table, designed by Aitor Garcia de Vicuña, stands out with its bold sculptural base inspired by the geometric entrances of mountain caves. Crafted in oak or ash wood and topped with innovative high-pressure laminate, Lynn is part of a versatile collection that includes- dining table, an oval dining table, side table, and coffee table– bringing a refined sense of luxury to both residential and hospitality interiors.

The Ada Collection, designed by Mónica Braga dos Santos, draws inspiration from mid-century modern design, where functionality meets elegant curved lines and generous volumes that invite comfort. Crafted in ash wood, upholstered in cotton velvet, and finished in brown pewter, the collection composed of-  a sofa, lounge chair, daybed, and bar stool– reflects the meaning behind its name.

Completing the setting, the Cintura Collection by Sara Elizagarate pays tribute to the elegance of 19th-century fashion. Inspired by dresses that highlighted the grace of the waist, the design translates the gathered detailing of the era into sculptural seating. Composed of-  a dining chair, lounge chair, luxe lounge chair, counter stool, and bar stool– Cintura blends classic inspiration with contemporary comfort.
