Redcliff Quarter Build to Rent in Bristol

Contemporary Urban Living Designed Around Comfort and Connection

At the heart of Bristol’s evolving Redcliff district, Redcliff Quarter brings a contemporary approach to urban living within one of the city’s most connected neighbourhoods. The residential development forms part of the second and final phase of the wider Redcliff Quarter masterplan, a vibrant mixed-use scheme located just a nine-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station. Here, residential life becomes part of a broader urban environment, with connectivity, shared spaces and contemporary design contributing to the everyday experience of residents.

The interiors were designed by TEN London, a studio specialising in Build to Rent developments and known for bridging residential and hospitality design. This approach is particularly relevant to contemporary rental living, where communal environments increasingly function as extensions of the individual home. Rather than treating shared areas simply as transitional spaces, thoughtful interior design can transform them into places for residents to meet, relax, work or spend time away from their apartments. At Redcliff Quarter, comfort, functionality and a strong sense of identity come together within interiors designed around the expectations of modern city life.

Within these shared spaces, the Goa Lounge Chair by Sentta introduces warmth through a restrained and timeless design language. Part of the Goa Collection, designed by Francesc Rifé Studio, the lounge chair reflects the studio’s approach to creating furniture at the intersection of industrial and interior design. Inspired by the serene landscapes and atmosphere of Goa, the collection is characterised by clean lines, balanced proportions and an understated aesthetic that allows it to integrate naturally into contemporary environments.

The Goa Lounge Chair brings this philosophy into the residential context through a design that feels refined without becoming formal. Its generous proportions create an inviting place to pause, while its controlled lines maintain the visual clarity of the surrounding interior. This balance makes the piece particularly suited to Build to Rent interiors in Bristol, where communal spaces need to feel comfortable and residential while responding to the scale and functionality of a shared environment.

Furniture plays an important role in creating this transition between private and communal living. A well-considered lounge chair can establish a quieter zone within a larger social space, introduce warmth into contemporary architecture and make shared areas feel more personal. At Redcliff Quarter, Goa contributes to this hospitality-inspired approach to residential design, helping create environments residents can use naturally as part of everyday life.

The wider Goa Collection extends the same design language across a dining chair, armchair, lounge chair and bar stool, allowing designers to create continuity between different seating areas without making an interior feel repetitive. Its versatility makes the collection particularly relevant to contemporary residential and Build to Rent projects, where different communal environments can require distinct functions while remaining connected through a consistent visual identity.

At Redcliff Quarter, the Goa Lounge Chair becomes part of a wider vision for contemporary city living—one where location and connectivity are complemented by interiors that give residents more reasons to spend time within the shared spaces around their homes.

Urban living without anonymity. Shared spaces with a residential sensibility. Contemporary design shaped around the way people live, connect and feel at home.
