At SíSí Rooftop, bold flavours, creative cocktails and panoramic views come together in a vibrant celebration of sunshine and connection. Inspired by the Mexican-American coast, the rooftop destination is shaped around an easy-going social experience—from long lunches beneath the sun to cocktails and golden-hour toasts as the atmosphere shifts into evening.

Within this spirited setting, the Cintura Lounge Chair and Cintura Bar Stool by Sentta introduce a refined counterpoint, bringing sculptural form and contemporary comfort into an environment designed for people to gather and stay awhile. Designed by Sara Elizagarate, Cintura takes its inspiration from 19th-century fashion and the elegant silhouettes created by dresses designed to accentuate the waist. That historical reference is reinterpreted through distinctive curves and gathered detailing, transforming the language of fashion into contemporary furniture.

The two Cintura pieces respond to different moments within the rooftop experience while maintaining the same recognisable design identity. The Cintura Lounge Chair creates a more relaxed seating experience, inviting guests to settle into longer conversations and slower moments, while the Cintura Bar Stool carries the collection’s sculptural character into elevated social areas. Together, they create continuity across different settings while allowing each area to retain its own function and rhythm.

This versatility is particularly relevant when selecting rooftop restaurant furniture, where dining, drinking and lounging frequently coexist within the same environment. A rooftop may shift throughout the day from relaxed lunches to afternoon drinks and a livelier evening atmosphere, requiring furniture that supports different experiences while contributing to a cohesive visual identity. At SíSí Rooftop, Cintura’s combination of expressive detailing and inviting proportions complements this changing rhythm, adding sophistication without diminishing the relaxed character of the setting.

The project was delivered in collaboration with Elephant, a studio whose mission is to create sustainable and adaptive living environments where people can live healthier and in greater harmony with their surroundings. Within SíSí Rooftop, the furniture forms part of an environment centred around social interaction, openness and the pleasure of spending time together.

The wider Cintura Collection extends the same distinctive design language across a dining chair, lounge chair, luxe lounge chair, counter stool and bar stool, giving designers the flexibility to create connected environments across restaurants, lounges and residential interiors. Its range of seating typologies allows the collection to move between dining and relaxation while retaining the sculptural curves and gathered detailing that define its identity.
