USAGE CONSIDERATIONS
1) Furniture is designed to be used indoors under standard conditions, with relative humidity between 25% and 60% and temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Otherwise, it may have negative effects on the furniture, potentially causing distortions in the wood and upholstery.
2) The warranty does not cover defects or wear caused by normal use of the product, nor damages or accidents caused by improper handling during installation. Any other use, such as placing inappropriate objects, climbing, kneeling, jumping, dropping, hitting, or placing the furniture outdoors, may result in damage to the furniture, with potential harm to the user.
3) Please specify the finish according to our color samples, provided in our catalog and website. However, these should be considered as a general guide, so do not expect an exact replica. Different woods and veneers may absorb the finish differently, which can cause variations in shades and textures. As for the color, the color samples are for guidance only. The finish of veneer is slightly different from solid wood, as the raw materials are different.
4) Changes in texture, minor deviations in color, and natural growth defects are not considered defects, but rather demonstrate the genuine nature of the wood. As a natural material, wood reacts permanently to the surrounding environment. This reaction can result in small cracks in the paint or slight penetration of the paint into the wood structure during the product’s lifecycle. This should not be considered a manufacturing defect, but a consequence of the natural condition of the wood.
5) The warranty does not cover quality defects in fabrics, leather, or imitation leather used in the upholstery of products, nor does it cover the non-use of metal protections on bar stools. Regarding customer-supplied upholstery fabric, we reserve the right not to accept material we deem unsuitable for upholstering our products. When sending fabric, it is essential to mark the side you wish to use for upholstery. We reserve the right to choose the side if it is not marked. Specifically for bar stools, we recommend using materials with higher abrasion resistance.
6) Light-colored fabrics, leather, and/or imitation leather may stain when in contact with darker materials such as dyed fabrics, denim, newspapers, magazines, etc. This chemical pigmentation reaction is not a sign of poor quality and is therefore not covered by the warranty.
7) The characteristics of some upholstery materials or the technology used in the process may cause minor defects such as small wrinkles or creases in the upholstery during production or as a result of product use. This should not be the subject of any complaint. When upholstering round shapes, fabric wrinkling is technically inevitable.
8) For upholstering models with natural leather or velvet supplied by the customer, the material should be delivered in rolls. Avoid folding the leather or velvet as this may cause deformation. If this happens, we reserve the right to reject the material. Leather is a natural product, and for this reason, a certain degree of acceptance is required regarding surface and structure irregularities, as well as small defects such as scars, scratches, etc., resulting from the animal’s natural life. These defects represent and confirm the “authenticity of the leather.”
9) Whenever the upholstery is in leather or imitation leather, double piping should be applied if the type of upholstery or product allows.
10) Do not expose the furniture to water, excessive heat, or direct sunlight. As a result of direct exposure to sunlight, the color of wood, fabric, or plastic may change.
11) It is not recommended to use furniture on uneven floors, as this may cause damage to the furniture.
12) The use of plastic, nylon, or nylon/metal glides can damage wooden or parquet flooring.
13) We recommend periodically checking the condition of the glides to prevent damage to the floor and/or the product.
14) Sharp objects, keys, cutlery, handbags, harder seams, pants zippers, animal claws, etc., may cause damage to the wood, veneer, or fabric.
15) All screws should be tightened periodically to ensure greater durability and resistance of the product. Loose joints can cause excessive tension on the parts, leading to damage to the product.
16) The seat height or total height of the product may vary from the standard dimensions depending on the upholstery option.
17) The stackable version may differ from the non-stackable version in terms of crossbars, seat type, and foot and arm shapes.
WOOD / VENEERS
– Wood and veneer are affected by light and heat. During the first 2 months, they continue to absorb surrounding light, so keep surfaces free of objects to avoid permanent marks and circles.
– Protect wood and veneer from direct sunlight to prevent fading of colors.
– Only use water in small amounts and on a damp cloth. After cleaning, always use a dry cloth.
– Wood and veneer are sensitive to liquids. Immediately remove any liquids or other residues to prevent absorption and permanent stains.
– Always try to remove stains using the gentlest cleaning materials. A suitable soap solution and warm water.
– Never use products containing benzene or other solvents.
VENEER TABLE TOPS
It is not recommended to use this type of material, and Fenabel is not responsible for its replacement. If this type of material is chosen, the following maintenance guidelines must be followed:
– Do not use soaking wet cloths; only use soft cloths lightly dampened, and after cleaning, dry the surfaces well to avoid stains.
– Protect the tabletop using tablecloths, coasters, and pot or plate bases.
– Do not use abrasive products; always test cleaning methods on small, hidden areas of the wood to ensure no damage is caused.
– Do not allow direct sunlight to hit the top to prevent the material from appearing worn and stained.
LAMINATE
Laminate is a multi-layer, compact, uniform, non-porous material that is easy to clean and is generally used for restaurant table tops.
For cleaning:
Remove any dust with a damp cloth and warm water or a mild (non-abrasive and non-alkaline) detergent to avoid scratching the surface.
– Act immediately by cleaning up any liquid spills to prevent absorption and staining.
– For more stubborn stains, use non-abrasive household detergents with a soft cloth.
– Avoid products containing denatured alcohol and ammonia, products with high acid content or strong alkalines.
– Avoid direct use of sharp or pointed tools.
– Always use cutting boards and bases for pots or dishes.
– Avoid sliding abrasive objects on the laminate surface.
COMPACT LAMINATE
– Keep solid laminate surfaces as dry as possible.
– For daily maintenance, use a damp microfiber cloth to remove dust residues.
– For any stains, use a non-abrasive sponge with neutral detergent or household degreaser and wipe in gentle circular motions, rinse with warm water, and finally dry with a cloth or paper towel.
– Avoid using products containing abrasive substances, abrasive sponges, sandpaper, and scrubbing pads.
– Avoid products with high acid or alkaline content and waxes.
– Avoid direct use of sharp or pointed tools.
FABRICS
– Protect fabric from direct sunlight to prevent fading of colors.
– Never rub stains.
– Regular cleaning: Vacuum frequently and use only a damp cloth.
– Never use products containing benzene or other solvents.
– For stains/spills, it is essential to act quickly and absorb the liquid with a white, absorbent cloth.
– Avoid using sharp, heavy objects like keys to prevent marks. Avoid excessive heat and, if possible, direct sunlight, as it dries out the material. High humidity, hot temperatures, poor ventilation and dirt can cause mold. It is important to keep the upholstery clean and control the environment where products are stored to avoid mold growth.
– Always refer to the technical specifications and maintenance instructions on each specific sheet and any labels.
LEATHER AND SKIN
– Protect leather and skin from heat sources and direct sunlight.
– For general cleaning, use only a soft, dry cloth.
– Never rub stains.
– Never use products containing benzene or other solvents.
– If necessary, gently clean the entire surface with a clean, soft cloth dampened with water and neutral soap, then dry it with a cloth.
– If vacuuming, use a nozzle with a soft brush to avoid scratching the surface.
– Avoid using sharp, heavy objects like keys to prevent marks. Avoid excessive heat and, if possible, direct sunlight, as it dries out the material. High humidity, hot temperatures, poor ventilation, and dirt can cause mold. It is important to keep the upholstery clean and control the environment where products are stored to avoid mold.
– Always refer to the technical specifications and maintenance instructions on each specific sheet and any labels.
SYNTHETICS/IMMITATION LEATHER
– Clean with a microfiber cloth and neutral detergent.
– Always dry after cleaning.
– Avoid detergents, solvents, and abrasive products.
– Immediately remove any liquids or residues to prevent absorption and permanent stains.
– Keep in mind that these are merely recommendations and do not guarantee complete stain removal.
– Always refer to the technical specifications and maintenance instructions on each specific data sheet and any labels.
BRASS
– Brass must be routinely maintained to keep its desired appearance.
– Darkening or black spots on the brass surface is simply oxidation.
– Clean using a damp microfiber cloth.
– Dry after cleaning.
Do not use alcohol, ammonia, abrasive cleaners, granular cleaners, or solvents in general.
STAINLESS STEEL, STEEL, AND IRON
– Gently clean the entire surface with a clean, soft cloth dampened with water and neutral soap.

– There is a K-Clean cleaning kit specific for Krion®.
RATTAN
– Dry the rattan strip and occasionally clean it with a damp cloth (only water).
– Do not use oil or oily products, as this will accumulate dust and dirt.
– Rattan seats stretch over time to absorb the tension of sitting on them. This tension can be restored by lightly dampening the rattan strip with warm water and a sponge on the underside/back of the rattan. This moisture is absorbed by the fibers.
– Only after the rattan has completely dried should it be used again for sitting. Depending on the circumstances, this drying may take up to 12 hours.
– To preserve the rattan, it is advisable not to place it permanently under direct sunlight.
– It is important to avoid point pressure on the rattan under any circumstances, except for sitting—never stand or kneel on it.
